Chuck Williams

Chief Financial Officer

Born in Asheville, NC and raised in Raleigh, Charles (Chuck) Williams graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Mason School of Business, at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Florida, Warrington School of Business (Class of 2024) in Gainesville Florida. He joins flyExclusive as the Chief Financial Officer following his tenure with McKinsey & Company as a Chief Transformation Officer based in Charlotte, NC, where he served a diverse set of clients spanning Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Heavy Manufacturing, Mining, and Semi-Conductor fabrication. Prior to joining McKinsey, he spent four years as an Executive Director for JP Morgan, leading global business transformation efforts across their Investment Bank in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, India, and Australia. At Bank of America for eight years as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, he held numerous executive roles to include expatriate postings in Shanghai, China and Chester, United Kingdom, developing an expertise in post-merger integration and enterprise transformation. His first role after business school was with KPMG Consulting, based in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to his civilian pursuits, he is a full CAPTAIN, in the US Navy Reserve, currently serving as Commanding Officer for NATO’s Combined Joint Operations from the Sea, Center of Excellence (CJOS COE). A Navy Flight Officer by training, he has over 32 service to our Nation to include four deployments to the European, Pacific, Middle East while on active duty. As a Reservist, he has held Command twice, been and Executive Officer four times, and mobilized twice for a year each time in support of counter-terrorism operations in Africa. In addition to completing a tour as the Executive Officer, Special Operations Command EUROPEM he also he served the Department of Homeland Security, Commander US Northern Command, and the Governor of North Carolina and his Emergency Management Team as the Navy Emergency Preparedness Officer (NEPLO) for multiple catastrophic hurricane response efforts. CAPT Williams’ personal awards and decorations include three Defense Meritorious Service Medals (DMSMs), two Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), one Joint Commendation Medal (JCOM), two Navy Commendation Medals (NCMs), and one Navy Achievement Medal (NAM) along with multiple campaign and deployment awards. In 1995 he married Shannon Hughes of Concord, NC, who is the Director of Foundations, Grants, and Corporate Gifts at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, NC. They have a daughter Molly, who is completing her Master’s in Art History (December 2021) at the University of St Andrews in Scotland where she also completed her Bachelor’s in June 2020. An avid sailor, golfer, and scuba diver, he also has a Black Lab (Bodie) and Bengal now Cat (Cricket).
