Joe found his way to North Carolina after serving in the United States Marine Corps for 27 years. During his time in the Marines, he worked in aviation maintenance and learned all aspects of this field from being a plane captain, performing maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft, to developing as a maintenance controller, and towards the end of his military service performing inspections of other squadrons for compliance.
He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated with an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate. He also attended Horizon Flight School in Chesapeake, Virginia and achieved his private pilot's license.
After retirement from active duty military service, Joe joined the flyExclusive team in August of 2019. Joe started in the Maintenance Control Department and worked his way up to Assistant Director of Maintenance. In December of 2022, Joe was asked to join the senior leadership team as the Senior Vice President of Maintenance Repair and Overhaul.
Joe is self-motivated and strives for perfection in all facets of aviation maintenance.
Joe and his wife, Christie, like to spend time traveling with their four dogs that are like children to them. Joe enjoys hunting with his dogs and spending time outdoors.
