flyExclusive announced completion of a Starlink installation on a Challenger aircraft under its authorised Starlink dealership agreement. The MRO division completed the installation in record time.

The cadence

Starlink Aero Terminals are designed to be installed in a few hours, which is what keeps downtime short. flyExclusive is targeting a five-to-seven day cadence as additional aircraft move through the pipeline — the difference between the terminal fit itself and the full turn of inspection, paperwork and return to service. The MRO has performed in-flight connectivity and avionics system upgrades across multiple aircraft platforms over several years.

What the system delivers

Starlink uses low Earth orbit satellites to deliver broadband supporting in-flight streaming, online gaming and video calls, with download speeds of 135–310 Mbps and latency below 99 ms.

Our team has extensive experience integrating advanced avionics and connectivity systems. Applying that expertise to Starlink allows us to execute quickly while expanding the commercial scope of our MRO business.

flyExclusive MRO also secured a multi-aircraft customer installation agreement under the dealership arrangement. The number of aircraft was not disclosed.
