About the partner

The only U.S. charity flying critically ill children on private jets

AeroAngel is a non-profit founded in 2010 by Mark Pestal, an attorney and commercial pilot who put his own aircraft and his own hours behind the idea first and now runs it full time from Centennial Airport in Colorado. It provides free transportation by private business jet to seriously ill children who cannot safely travel commercially but do not require an air ambulance — the narrow, expensive gap that otherwise keeps a family from distant, lifesaving care. Families pay nothing.

“For Andrew, with his challenging post-transplant condition, a private jet flight home protecting him from the general public is critical.”

Our partnership

Our fleet, your hours, their flights

The partnership was announced in July 2022, and it works because the two halves already fit: AeroAngel needs light and midsize jets at short notice across the country, and that is the fleet we operate. We fly the missions. Our members can fund them.

Stated plainly: you can turn part of your membership into a flight for a child who needs one. Jet Club members donate tax-deductible funds, or flight hours out of the membership they have already bought, and AeroAngel uses them to move a patient to care on flyExclusive aircraft.

This is the one partnership on this page that is not a deal. Nothing here reduces what you pay to fly. What it buys is a seat a family could not otherwise reach.

What a member can do

  • Donate flight hours from a Jet Club membership toward an AeroAngel mission
  • Donate tax-deductible funds — AeroAngel reports 97% of funds reaching flights
  • Know the mission flies our aircraft: a private cabin, no terminal, no other passengers

Who it’s for

Jet Club members

Donating hours draws on a Jet Club membership, so that part belongs to Jet Club members. Donating funds does not: anyone can give to AeroAngel directly, member or not.

Worth knowing first

Three conditions

Hour donations are arranged through your Private Aviation Expert rather than from this page. They come off the hours you hold, and they have to be matched to a mission AeroAngel has scheduled.

AeroAngel selects the families and schedules the missions. We do not choose patients, and we are not given medical information.

Funds go to AeroAngel, not to flyExclusive. Their tax treatment is between you and AeroAngel.
