Summer’s Flight

In 2022, 7 month old Summer was recieving treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital for pulmonary hypertension caused by pulmonary vein stenosis. Thanks to AeroAngel, we were able to assist in delivering immunocompromised Summer and her family back home to Wisconsin for the holidays.

My husband and I are grateful to the incredible PVS and cardiology teams at Boston Children’s Hospital who are helping us navigate this challenging disease. But traveling there from western Wisconsin can be stressful with Summer further immunocompromised due to being on two different chemotherapy drugs to treat her disease.
