The opportunity to build a team of curious, talented software professionals in downtown Durham, paired with the challenge of modernizing private aviation, was a chance I couldn’t pass up. I am having a blast and the team we’re putting together makes coming to work really rewarding.
I’m a musician! It’s been a long time since I’ve actively put out music, but you can find my music on Spotify/Apple Music/anywhere else music is sold. I also love to play sports, garden or take on never-ending projects around the house.
“So this is the gift of the stars,” he thought. To feel humbled by the vastness of creation– and also enlarged by his living connection to it. - It’s actually out of one of my favorite childhood books! Merlin’s Dragon by T.A. Barron
I also really like the mantra “I can do hard things.” It’s been attributed to several people, not sure who said it first, but it’s something I’ve been repeating lately.

Not even at the 2 month mark yet!
I’d say it was going to coffee with the team last week and realizing we’ve gone from 0 employees in Durham to 5 awesome humans in a really short period of time. I had a moment where I imagined us looking back a year, two years from now, and laughing at how tiny our team was. I hope we look back with pride at all the things we’ve accomplished for flyExclusive.
