The three-day convention and exhibition in Orlando, Florida immersed attendees in the world of business aviation and allowed leading private jet companies to share the industry's best products and services. This year, NBAA-BACE celebrated 75 years of being the topflight intersection between embracing future-forward and innovative perspectives and exploring the leading marketplace for modern, high-tech aircraft, and flyExclusive was ecstatic to be a part of it all.
Throughout the event, flyExclusive featured different elements of our recent developments in the private aviation industry. On October 17th, 2022, flyExclusive announced entering into a definitive business combination agreement with EG Acquisition Corp. Under the terms of the agreement, flyExclusive and EG Acquisition Corp. will combine into a new company that is expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and will adopt flyExclusive as the corporate operating brand. Once the transaction is completed, will provide flyExclusive with significant additional capital to continue its growth, better serve customers and execute its strategic plan to become the nation’s first fully vertically integrated private aviation company.

This announcement was made the day before NBAA-BACE 2022, generating a great deal of excitement and curiosity for flyExclusive’s private jet services.
In October of 2021, flyExclusive announced the opening of two MRO facilities: a 24,000-square-foot Electrostatic Painting and Coating Facility and an Aircraft Interior Renovation Facility, becoming the only Part 135 operator in the world with the ability to paint our own aircraft. This expansion followed the steady increase of aircraft maintenance performed at flyExclusive headquarters in Kinston, North Carolina. Since the grand opening, flyExclusive’s aviation MRO services have grown tremendously, completing 100% of flyExclusive paint and interior overhauls in-house. The initiatives had grown so much, that in October of 2022, flyExclusive cut the ribbon on Hangar 4, a brand new 48,000-square-foot facility that houses the entire Aircraft Interior Renovation operations.
The flyExclusive Aircraft Interior Renovation Facility features a full two-story design shop that allows for the complete customization of private aircraft. Equipped with an upholstery department, a seamstress shop, and an interior paint booth for optimized drying time. Operating on three shifts, the Aircraft Interior Renovation Facility is able to overhaul an entire aircraft averaging 3,000 pieces in less than a month.
flyExclusive’s Electrostatic Painting and Coating Facility includes two 10,000-square-foot hangars with a full downdraft booth and filtration system to minimize emissions, along with enough hangar space to accommodate a Gulfstream GIV-SP aircraft. Offering complete temperature and humidity control, the facility gives us the ability to bake an aircraft for 8 hours at 120 degrees and immediately lower the humidity, allowing our painting crew to continue the process, resulting in the downtime of the aircraft being significantly reduced.
Now, flyExclusive’s aviation MRO services operate out of four state-of-the-art facilities, allowing each maintenance, repair, and overhaul department space to successfully complete projects in record time, returning the aircraft to the sky.
