flyExclusive is thrilled to have formally opened Hangar 4, the newest Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at headquarters in Kinston, North Carolina. This new addition, located in flyExclusive Headquarters in the North Carolina Global Transpark in Kinston will house the company’s growing aviation MRO division. A ribbon-cutting event was held on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 that opened the facility to invited aviation professionals within the industry to attend and celebrate the grand opening with us.
The new 48,000-square-foot facility allows flyExclusive to continue to perform installations and upgrades, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, paint, and interior work on aircraft within our fleet of 90+ Cessna Citation jets as well as external, client aircraft. The new hangar includes a two-story, 11,000-square-foot space dedicated to the interior refurbishment shop, equipped with cabinet and paneling refinishing, an upholstery department, and a seamstress shop. Operating on three shifts, 24/7, the Aircraft Interior Renovation Facility is able to overhaul an entire Cessna Citation aircraft averaging 3,000 pieces in less than a month.

In October of 2021, flyExclusive announced the opening of two MRO facilities, becoming the only Part 135 operator in the world with the ability to paint our own aircraft. This expansion followed the steady increase of aircraft maintenance performed at flyExclusive headquarters in Kinston, North Carolina. Since the grand opening in 2021, flyExclusive’s aviation MRO services have grown tremendously, completing 100% of flyExclusive paint and interior overhauls in-house.
With Hangar 4 opening and the latest 24/7 refurbishment operations, flyExclusive has previously hired 150 maintenance technicians in the past year and expects to hire another 200 employees in the coming months to support our efforts.
