From the first day I started flyExclusive, I’ve been committed to two goals: be the best company in private aviation and grow it right here in my hometown of Kinston, North Carolina.
Seven years later, I reflect on the incredible growth and success we have seen despite unforeseen challenges – like a global pandemic. I look at this adventure so far and I know I am still just as committed to those two goals as I was on day one.
Today we continue to show progress towards these goals with the opening of flyExclusive’s latest investment: a 48,000 square foot airline hangar that will house our extensive Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul (MRO) division.
FlyExclusive’s MRO business has continually exceeded customer expectations, and this new facility enables us to keep pushing the boundaries of the private aviation industry and run a reliable 24/7 maintenance operation. The new hangar allows us to provide customers with faster turnaround times and provide an even greater level of customer service.
The investment in a new building is also an investment in our employees. With more than 250 MRO employees already providing best-in-class service, our new hangar means we are on track with our plans to expand our operation and bring on an additional 200 employees.
Today’s opening is also a testament to our commitment to bring strong, local jobs to North Carolina. The Tarheel State has always been, and will always be, home to me, and one of the things I love most about running flyExclusive is seeing folks move to this part of the country and fall in love with it just as we do.
But, this is also about more than just a new building; this facility embodies flyExclusive’s promise to our customers, employees, and community that our services are world class. From right here in Kinston, North Carolina to everywhere our jets travel, flyExclusive is committed to our mission to be the absolute best in private aviation.
